Jackson had his four-game suspension reduced to two games following a successful appeal Tuesday, Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post reports.
The NFL handed Jackson the four-game ban Monday for multiple violations of the league's unnecessary roughness rules, as the safety had already been ejected from two games this season due to illegal hits. As a result of the suspension reduction, Jackson will miss games in Weeks and 8 and 10 before he's eligible to return to action Week 11 game versus the Vikings. P.J. Locke replaced the ejected Jackson in Sunday's win over the Packers and will likely enter the starting lineup beginning with the Broncos' Week 8 contest versus the Chiefs.
