The Rams traded Young and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Broncos on Monday in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Broncos recently placed Micah Kiser (groin) on injured reserve, which brings their total number of linebackers on IR to seven. The trade to acquire Young is Denver's second move to add linebacker help in the past few days, as they traded for outside linebacker Stephen Weatherly on Saturday. Young will likely step into the starting middle linebacker role with Justin Strnad during Kiser's absence.
