Surtain sustained a concussion in the Broncos' Week 6 loss to the Chargers, so it's no surprise he was estimated as a non-participant Monday. The Alabama product must still clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in order to suit up for Denver's Week 7 matchup against the Saints on Thursday night.
