Bridgewater (undisclosed) was carted off the field during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Bengals, George Stoia III of The Denver Gazette reports.
At the end of a scramble, Bridgewater tumbled face-mask first into the turf and didn't move for some time. The Broncos' medical staff carefully moved him onto his back, onto a backboard and eventually onto the cart immobilized. The nature and extent of the injury aren't yet known, but Drew Lock will take over for Bridgewater under center.
