Denver placed Bridgewater (concussion) on injured reserve Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
The move officially ends Bridgewater's 2021 season, with the quarterback finishing with a 66.9 percent completion rate for 3,052 yards and an 18:7 TD:INT to go with 106 rushing yards and two scores on the ground over 14 appearances. Drew Lock is in line to make his third straight start in Saturday's contest against Kansas City, provided he's able to play through a shoulder issue he picked up during Denver's Week 17 loss to the Chargers.
