Bridgewater (head) was taken to a Denver area hospital after he was carted off the field during the third quarter of Sunday's game versus the Bengals, Patrick Smyth of the Broncos' official site reports.
The decision is a precautionary measure after Bridgewater sustained a head injury at the end of a scramble that left him prone on the turf. Fortunately for the quarterback, he has movement in all his extremities. With Bridgewater out, Denver turned to Drew Lock to direct the offense.
