Siemian (shoulder) completed five of seven passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay. He was knocked out of the game right before halftime, but believes that he could have gone back in and is seen as day-to-day, Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post reports.
Siemian led the team to two touchdown drives before getting knocked out, but both of those drives started in very favorable field position after Aqib Talib interceptions. Otherwise, Siemian and the Broncos offense struggled with Tampa Bay's pass rush. Rookie Paxton Lynch entered game on short order and flashed a big arm and level of athleticism that Siemian, despite his strong start to the season, hasn't shown that he can match. If Siemian is healthy, he's a fair bet to remain the starter. If not, the future might be now for Denver and if Lynch maintains the level of play he showed on Sunday - the Siemian era might fail to last more than 14 quarters.
