Siemian completed 18 of 37 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns versus one interception during Sunday's loss at Oakland.
The Broncos curiously opened the game pass-heavy, throwing on five of the first six offensive downs en route to three-and-outs on their first four possessions. Siemian's first six passes failed to connect, and after his initial completion fell short of a first down and brought about Denver's third punt of the contest, the Raiders promptly put their first TD on the board and jump ahead 13-0. The offense led by Siemian never whittled the deficit to less than six points the rest of the way, but five connections of 20-plus yards, including long touchdowns to Jordan Norwood (36 yards) and Kapri Bibbs (69 yards) helped Siemian put up a respectable line upon first glance. Siemian's sub-50-percent showing is part of a trend, though, as he's fallen shy of 60 percent in three consecutive contests. The preceding coincides with the loss of a key component of the pass protection. While running back C.J. Anderson tends to a torn meniscus, Siemian will be flanked by rookie Devontae Booker and Kapri Bibbs as the Broncos' offense attempts to right the ship.
