Siemian completed 20 of 38 passes for 276 yards and an interception in Sunday's win over San Diego. He also lost a fumble in the contest.
It was a bit of a head-scratching performance from Siemian - perfectly encapsulated in a second quarter drive. First, Siemian uncorked a beautiful 37-yard bomb to Emmanuel Sanders to put the Broncos in scoring position and make some wonder where such passes have been all season. Then, a few plays later, he failed to secure the ball on a sack - losing a fumble when Denver would have otherwise had a chip-shot field goal. The two turnovers were Siemian's first since Week 2, so he certainly fits Denver's mold of protecting the ball and playing good defense, but he's also done little to spark the offense - averaging just over six yards per attempt with three touchdowns since his four-touchdown coming-out against Cincinnati.
