Siemian (shoulder) completed 30 of 50 passes for 230 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the Chargers. He also gained a yard on one rush.
Siemian easily set a career high in pass attempts in a game in which the Broncos never held a lead. However, he averaged a paltry 4.6 yards per attempt while also taking a pair of sacks, although he did encouragingly stay away from turning the ball over. Siemian hasn't thrown an interception since Week 2 versus the Colts and has now completed a stellar 64.9 percent of his 151 pass attempts on the season. He's certainly been serviceable enough to win with, but couldn't generate consistent offense Thursday against a vulnerable Chargers secondary despite the return of starting tight end Virgil Green (calf). Siemian and the Broncos will look to rebound from their two-game losing streak when they take on the Texans in a showdown on Monday Night Football in Week 7.
