Franklin played 16 offensive snaps in Friday night's preseason game against the Packers, but he did not appear in the box score.
Franklin had a short night, so there's not much to glean from the lack of any target any targets for the wide receiver, who's in the mix, along with Marvin Mims (undisclosed) and Pat Bryant, for slotting behind Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle. With the offseason addition of Waddle, Franklin is set to see a regression in target share, so he will need to earn every snap. The speedy Oregon product provides a nice deep threat to complement Waddle and Sutton, but it remains to be seen how much volume he'll earn behind the duo this coming season.
