He is hoping to shorten that window while rehabbing the injury, so it remains to be seen how long that will take. The veteran quarterback has missed two games over the past three weeks and took just 12 snaps in Week 7 before exiting. PJ Walker subsequently replaced him under center and is expected to continue doing so should Watson miss more time.
