Fannin (groin) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Fannin wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, so his appearance on it a day later is notable. It remains to be seen if Thursday's listed limitations were maintenance-related or indicative of a setback, but the tight end may need to work fully Friday in order to approach Sunday's game against the Saints without an injury designation.
