Nesbit was released from the Vikings' practice squad Tuesday.
Nesbit was signed to the practice squad with Minnesota on Oct. 28, but he will now potentially look for another opportunity elsewhere. The tight end has yet to make his NFL regular-season debut, and his next destination will likely be with a team's practice unit.
