Mayfield has fared modestly in his first campaign in Tampa Bay, completing 65 percent of his passes for 1,363 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions while also racking up 99 more yards on the ground through six games. With a short week to prepare for Thursday's contest at Buffalo, he'll have two more opportunities to handle some on-field work before the Buccaneers potentially give him a designation for Week 8 action.
