Trotter (illness) did not practice Wednesday, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Trotter is battling through an illness that prevented him from participating in the first practice of Week 8 prep. He'll have two more opportunities to return to the practice field and avoid an injury designation for Sunday's NFC South tilt against the Falcons. Through six regular-season games, Trotter has accumulated 62 total tackles, which is seventh-most in the NFL.
