Uzomah announced his retirement from the National Football League on Monday, Jared Goffinet of Fox 19 in Cincinnati reports.

The tight end retired as a Bengal, the team with which he played his first seven seasons in the league. Uzomah's best receiving campaign came in 2021, when he grabbed 49 balls for 593 yards and five scores during the regular season. The 2015 fifth-round pick last saw NFL action in 2024 with Philadelphia, when he made seven regular-season appearances but did not play during the team's postseason run due to an abdominal injury.
