York won't be elevated off the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game versus Tampa Bay.
York will remain on the practice squad once again, as Charlie Smyth will continue to serve as the team's kicker. York was initially unable to beat out Smyth in the competition for the kicker spot, but he could take over the role going forward if Smyth struggles versus the Buccaneers.
