Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis enjoyed a productive performance during Sunday's home opener against the Falcons.
Sturgis drilled a 46-yard field goal attempt as the first half expired and then a 50-yard shot in the third quarter. He joined Uwe von Schamann as the only rookie kickers in franchise history to have two field goals of 50 or more yards in a season.
Sturgis finished 2 of 2 in field goal attempts and converted three extra points in a 27-23 victory.
