Akers reverted to Seattle's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Akers was elevated to Seattle's active roster for the Super Bowl but ended up playing just four snaps, all of which came on special teams. The 26-year-old spent time with both the Vikings and Seahawks during the 2025 campaign, appearing in six regular-season games and rushing for 19 yards on five carries.
