Watkins (biceps) will require surgery to address an injury sustained Week 2 and could miss significant time, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Watkins seems a likely candidate to land on IR, where he could be sidelined more than the requisite minimum of four games. In two appearances for the Chiefs this season, he's racked up seven total tackles, one sack and one pass defensed.
