McCoy will be the Cardinals' starting quarterback in place of Kyler Murray (ankle) for Sunday's contest against the Panthers, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Murray appeared to be a bit healthier this week than he was during Week 9 prep, actually making an appearance on the practice field as a limited participant Friday. The Cardinals took a decision on Murray down to the wire but ultimately opted to keep him sidelined due to the sprained ankle he suffered during a Week 8 loss to the Packers. McCoy fared well in place of Murray last Sunday at San Francisco, completing 22 of 26 passes for 249 yards and one touchdown while supplying 23 more yards on seven carries.
