Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said Thursday that Riley will start during Sunday's game against the Panthers, Kevin Zimmerman of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Riley looks set to start at strong safety in place of Chris Banjo (hamstring). With Budda Baker (thumb) also on track to miss Week 4, it appears as though Deionte Thompson will also handle a starting safety role in Carolina.
