Hopkins (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game in San Francisco.
Hopkins gave it a go on his balky hamstring Week 8 against the Packers but managed just two catches (on two targets) on a 24 percent share of offensive snaps. He didn't practice at all this week before receiving a questionable designation for Sunday, and that trended more towards 'out' as the Cardinals became less hopeful for active status, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. After he worked out prior to the contest, Arizona has opted to keep Hopkins in street clothes along with Kyler Murray (ankle). With the premier QB-WR duo sidelined and A.J. Green (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Colt McCoy will be throwing to the likes of Christian Kirk, Rondale Moore, Antoine Wesley, Andy Isabella and Greg Dortch in Week 9.
