The Cardinals placed Adams (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
It's another blow to the Cardinals' offensive line, as Adams' placement on IR comes less than a week after the Paris Johnson was ruled out for the rest of the season due to a torn left biceps. Adams will be required to miss at least four games, so his next chance to play is Week 9 against the Seahawks on Sunday, Nov. 8. Jon Gaines will start at right guard in Adams' absence.
