Gaines (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Gaines remains sidelined with a bad ankle. Hayden Conner is set to start at right guard against the Broncos in the 27-year-old's place.
