Murray completed 21 of 34 passes for 207 yards with a touchdown and an interception and added five rushes for 45 yards in the Cardinals' 20-13 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
Murray was unable to keep up with Jared Goff and his prolific ground attack that far outpaced a Cardinals rushing game that saw the mobile signal-caller lead with 45 yards. Murray took only one sack but averaged a relatively modest 6.1 yards per attempt. After an early 10-yard touchdown toss to Marvin Harrison to knot the score at 7-7 with just over five minutes left in the first quarter, Murray frequently struggled to find a rhythm, as he was able to lead only two other scoring drives that ended in Matt Prater field goals. Despite the disappointing home loss, Murray and his skill-position assets should have a good chance to bounce back in a Week 4 home matchup against the suspect Commanders defense.
