Cardinals' Kyler Murray: No safe bet to return Week 11
Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury wouldn't commit to Murray (ankle) being available for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. "It's going to be close," Kingsbury said, regarding Murray's chances of playing next weekend.
Murray was sidelined for a second straight game in the Cardinals' 34-10 loss to the Panthers this past weekend, enabling Colt McCoy to pick up another start before he exited with a pectoral strain. Kingsbury suggested that he's hopeful McCoy will be available for the game in Seattle next weekend if needed, but the Cardinals ideally would prefer to have their No. 1 quarterback in Murray back in action. Ultimately, Murray's ability to play Week 11 may hinge on what he's able to do in practices Wednesday through Friday. While tending to the left ankle sprain, Murray managed only one limited practice last week before being listed as questionable and then ultimately inactive for the loss to Carolina.
