Ertz (calf), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Chiefs, is likely to play barring any pregame setbacks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The veteran tight end looks to have made enough progress in his recovery from a lingering calf issue to be trending in the right direction for Week 1. It will certainly be positive news for Kyler Murray and the Cardinals' offense if Ertz is given the green light, especially with Rondale Moore (hamstring) and DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) out of action. An official word on Ertz's status may not come until the Cardinals release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.
