The Dolphins signed Washington to the practice squad Monday.
The Dolphins waived Washington during Sunday's cutdown day. The running back cleared waivers and has rejoined the team on the practice squad. The 27-year-old participated in all three preseason contests, rushing 18 times for 41 yards.
