Bilal has been promoted to the Chargers' active roster.
Bilal spent the offseason and training camp with the Bolts before being added to the team's practice squad ahead of Week 1. The undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame will serve as some additional depth to the linebacker corps with starter Drue Tranquill (ankle) placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
