Johnson (knee) will start Chargers camp on the active/PUP list.
Johnson missed the Chargers' final 10 games last season after suffering a fractured knee and MCL injury during Week 9. Before the injury, the veteran defensive tackle appeared in eight games and tallied 22 tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack. There is still no timetable for his return to the field.
