Daniel has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chargers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Per the report, the veteran QB's deal is for $2.25 million. The 35-year-old is thus slated to remain Justin Herbert's top backup in 2022. In that role, Daniel did not attempt a pass last season.
