Daniel dealt with tingling in his right arm after getting hit on the elbow while being sacked during Saturday's preseason contest against the Seahawks, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Daniel drew the start in the preseason finale and remains the favorite to operate as Justin Herbert's primary backup during the regular season. The 34-year-old completed nine passes for 70 yards during the contest as the Chargers' offense was shutout. The injury does not appear to be all that serious, as coach Brandon Staley said there should be no long-term issues.
