Coach Jim Harbaugh said Wednesday that Perryman (undisclosed) will be out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com reports.
Per Ricardo Sandoval of USA Today, Harbaugh told reporters back before Week 1 that he only expected Perryman to spend four games on IR with his unspecified injury, but he'll now be missing his sixth game of the year. Until he's back on the field, veteran Del'Shawn Phillips figures to continue to see increased reps at linebacker.
