Chargers' Justin Herbert: Racks up yardage against Houston
Herbert completed 27 of 35 passes for 336 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 41-29 loss to the Texans.
Herbert managed an efficient 9.6 yards per attempt, though he threw multiple interceptions for the first time since Week 12. One of those picks came in the final moments with the Chargers on a drive to potentially close their deficit to one possession, instead resulting in the Texans icing the win. In addition to his mistakes, Herbert also failed to throw for multiple scores for the first time in his last five games, and his lone touchdown came on a three-yard strike with only 38 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Given his recent form, it should be expected that Herbert will bounce back in Week 17 against Denver, though it is a relatively tough matchup.
