Awosika (lower leg) has been ruled out for Sunday's tilt against the Rams, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Awosika suffered an injury to his fibula in Week 2 and hasn't been able to suit up since. He remained unable to practice during Week 8 prep, so it's not clear when he'll be able to return to game action. Rookie Logan Taylor may make a third straight start Sunday in Awosika's stead.
