Houston released Heck (foot) on Tuesday.
Heck dealt with plantar fasciitis throughout training camp, which may have played a role in his release. The 2020 fourth-round pick spent the first four seasons of his career with the Texans and saw his playing time drop last year, as he made only three starts.
