Pacheco is being evaluated for an ankle injury after Sunday's 26-25 win over the Bengals, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Pacheco got his lower leg caught underneath a defender on a tackle during Kansas City's final drive, which culminated in Harrison Butker's game-winning 51-yard field goal as time expired. The workhorse running back had 19 carries for 90 yards and caught all five of his targets for 21 yards prior to the injury. If Pacheco's availability for Week 3 against the Falcons is impacted, Carson Steele and Samaje Perine would be in line for additional touches.
