Hunt rushed the ball 14 times for 69 yards in Sunday's 17-10 win over the Chargers. He added two receptions on three targets for 16 yards.
Carson Steele drew the start in Kansas City's backfield, but Hunt took over after Steele picked up only six yards on two carries and lost a fumble on the team's first three offensive possessions. Meanwhile, Hunt went on to clearly lead the team's backfield -- Steele and Samaje Perine logged only three and five touches, respectively -- while also displaying decent efficiency. The only downside to Hunt's potential role as the Chiefs' lead back is that he was subbed out for a goal-line carry in favor of Perine midway through the fourth quarter.
