Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Friday that Delane (shoulder) will not play Sunday against the Jets, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports.
Andy Reid added that the rookie Delane is "making progress" but isn't quite ready to make his return, marking the second straight game the 22-year-old will miss. Delane has 27 tackles (17 solo), five pass deflections, and one interception in five games this season.
