The Chiefs are expected to designate Hardman (abdomen) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Per Adam Teicher of ESPN.com, depending on how Hardman fares in practice this week, he could be activated from IR in advance of Sunday's game against the Texans. Hardman's potential return would bolster a Kansas City wideout corps that also includes JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling as its top two options at the moment. Kadarius Toney (hamstring), who has missed the past three games, is also a candidate to return Week 15 and likely represents Hardman's top challenger for a top-three spot on the depth chart.
