Mahomes indicated Wednesday that he's feeling better and has noticed reduced swelling in his right hand, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
Mahomes added that he plans to handle a normal workload at practice Wednesday, but confirmation on that front won't arrive until later in the day, when the Chiefs release their first Week 15 injury report. The quarterback's status for Sunday's game against the Broncos doesn't appear to be in any real danger.
