The Giants waived Thorson (concussion) with an injury settlement Wednesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Rather than remain on the Giants' injured reserve for the entire 2021 season, Thorson will now be free to sign elsewhere in the league once he's fully recovered from his concussion. Since being selected by the Eagles in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Thorson still has yet to make his regular-season debut.
