Colts' Anthony Richardson: Week 5 status TBD
Following Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers, Richardson (hip) acknowledged that he doesn't know if he'll be available next weekend against the Jaguars, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
When asked about his hip injury afterward, Richardson noted, "I'm feeling a little sore, but I'm feeling good," while adding that it was a mutual decision between him and the team to not return to Sunday's contest. In any case, Richardson says he'll take it day by day ahead of Week 5 action, but if he's unable to face Jacksonville next weekend, Joe Flacco would fill in at QB for the Colts. Per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, the hope is that Richardson misses very little or no game action with what he describes as a right hip pointer issue for the 2023 first-rounder.
