Ward exited Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Chiefs early due to groin tightness. The starting cornerback will likely need to upgrade his practice participation to at least a limited level by Friday to have a chance of playing in the Colts' Week 3 divisional matchup against the Texans.
