Morris was 12-of-16 for 143 yards passing with no interceptions or touchdowns in Saturday's preseason win over Pittsburgh.
Morris was impressive for a third consecutive preseason game and got some playing time in the first half with the second-team unit. Scott Tolzien should begin the season as the starting quarterback if Andrew Luck remains sidelined with a shoulder injury, but the Colts could quickly turn to Morris if Tolzien struggles.
