Sermon played just one snap on offense in Sunday's overtime win at Tennessee. He had a drop on his only target.
Sermon entered to the game as the backup to Zack Moss with Jonathan Taylor out with a thumb injury, but he didn't see the field on offense after his drop. Tyler Goodson played three snaps on offense and had two receptions, and he could overtake Sermon as the backup running back during the rest of Taylor's absence as a result.
