Commanders' Lawrence Cager: Signs futures deal with Washington

The Commanders signed Cager to a reserve/future contract Wednesday.

Cager's futures deal will allow him to stick with Washington during the offseason, but it prohibits him from contributing during the team's playoff run. He spent time on the Giants' practice squad in 2024 but didn't suit up for any regular-season games.
