McCaffrey, a third-round selection of the Commanders in 2024 NFL Draft, appeared in 26 regular-season games over the first two years of his NFL career. However, he'll be a healthy scratch for Sunday's regular-season opener, with the Commanders carrying five active wide receivers for Week 1. McCaffrey's next chance to play is Week 2 against the Cowboys on Sunday, Sept. 20.
